I would testify that BPG is one of the most genuine, authentic organization I have met. Why I have chosen to join them is the strong leadership qualities and passion for their work which I have noted and admire greatly from ones so young. Keep up the work BPG I am with you 100 percent.
I first met the founder of BPG whilst they were fundraising in Seven Sisters, and after doing my research I was eager to get involved. The work BPG are doing within the community is amazing and I'm so grateful for the space they are providing for people in the community. What I admire most about BPG is that they do not just ask for money, they encourage their supporters to actively engage within a network and since doing so I have met so many brilliant passionate and truly inspirational people. I look forward to continuing my support to BPG in 2019 and bearing witness to the amazing work that is yet to come.
From the first day I was informed about Black People Giving. I could not wait to sign up! The BPG book alone sold me, I fell in love with it so much that I had to stop myself from reading it too fast. The first health session I attended was the guided meditation, from that moment on I never wanted to leave Maa Maat centre. I thoroughly enjoyed the fitness and self defence fight classes as well. I was most looking forward to the yoga session and my expectations were exceeded. My sister and I proudly brought our traditional Ugandan food to the BPG Christmas/Kwanza party.
